Bonsoir! In August in France, nobody works. So, i am not surprised the letter took longer. In general, it takes 10 - 12 days.
All the best for you for your appointment at the FRench Embassy in Hong Kong. I am not sure if it is the same woman who works at the reception now. If it is, she is not very kind ;)
Gotcha... Maybe the first thing I've got to learn in France is ... how to stay patient
my feeling about living in France is never expect things can be right. They always go wrong. You are just Lucky if things are right ;)
I can tell... as France is so notorious for the bureaucracy x~x
我覺得英國郵政速度都OK， 但我家門口的信箱最近被郵差先生夾硬塞爆。。:(
我無諗過要等咁耐, 可能我真係要適應下佢地既速度
